Telling the Dixons

Sunday we traveled down to Pinson to celebrate Thanksgiving with John's family. His sister is in town with her four kids from Germany, so the Dixon household was loaded with kids! Eight, I think. We had a great time and ate some good food. Dash got to rough house around with his cousins and wore himself out.

We also told John's family about our family expansion. We were debating on telling them, it's so early. (5 weeks tomorrow, hooray!) Ultimately John decided to tell them and his mom was very excited. This is the tenth grandchild for her! I'm glad they were excited!

In baby news, I read on babycenter's weekly updates that BDV2.0 is the size of a poppy seed right now. Isn't it amazing that something so teeny can turn out so perfect? That 10 fingers and 10 toes could ever form from something the size of a poppyseed?

Check out this website for pictures of what the baby looks like now. I love this man's work.
